grays court is truly a hidden gem. the beautiful garden next to the minster is perfect for relaxing after exploring. we were treated to the best service, with the staff going above and beyond, even providing a packed lunch for our departure. it was an unforgettable experience.

The parking fees are a bit outrageous!!! The decor could use a refresh in certain areas to match the charming ambiance of the hotel, yet some public spaces looked untidy for such a high-end price point.

The building has a charm that's hard to find these days, we stayed in the Mortimer room with gorgeous views of the cathedral. Enjoyed a delightful dinner experience in their gallery bar, perfectly paired wine for each course was just superb.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, it was acceptable.

Grays Court offered a memorable stay for my family. The stunning gardens and its proximity to York Minster provided the perfect environment for exploration. While I missed some air conditioning, the friendly staff and the enjoyable breakfast made our visit worthwhile. Definitely a place to return to!

the location is superb, right next to the minster which is awesome for exploring york. the staff were super friendly n helpful, gave us great tips for food nearby. our deluxe double room was really lovely n clean, which was a plus. the breakfast was fresh n delicious. parking was available, which was a huge bonus!
